Lowrance Replaces Davis

July 13th, 2009 Brian Oliver

Geoff Morrow of the Patriot News has the details …

Harrisburg Senators outfielder Marvin Lowrance was added Monday to the Eastern League’s Southern Division All-Star team, replacing injured teammate Leonard Davis. Lowrance, who turns 25 Thursday, is hitting .271 with a team-high 13 home runs, 16 doubles and 34 RBIs. Davis, who has been day-to-day with a quad injury, was originally selected but will not be ready yet by Wednesday’s game in Trenton. Relief pitchers Jack Spradlin and Josh Wilkie are also representing Harrisburg in the all-star game.

Way to go OC LOwrance! If Corrales can come back-does that mean St. Claire could help in the future???? The bench being groomed for John Stearns??? Or shall we expect Rizzo to dip his hand back to AZ.-Chip Hale? Terry Pendleton?

Best of luck to Marvin, Josh and Jack in the All-Star Game. It was great talking to all three of you at the game last week in Bowie.
