The Home Stretch

A few notes on the penultimate Friday of the MLB regular season

  • The Nationals lost their 100th game of the season yesterday. With ten games remaining for the Nationals, the Tragic Number with the Pirates (11G left) in now 6. Any combination of Nationals losses & Pirates wins that total six lock the Nats in with the #1 overall pick in 2010 (Tragic Numbers with Orioles & Indians [both have 10G left] are 2 & 1, respectively).
  • Here is latest edition of Natmosphere in Your Ear
  • NFA will be on hiatus for the next ten days as I head off to Hawaii for vacation

Brian have fun, but not too much fun!!! I’m with Vladihondo stick with the mai tais. Poi tastes like it sounds. I did watch a program about the weird foods of Hawaii and spam was nearly on top of the list. They love the stuff and eat it like no other state in the union. So, what I’m saying is try some sweet and sour spam and tells us about it when you get back….hahaha!

    Ok poi sucks, whatever.

Seriously, where do oi follow results from the U18 Pan Am tournament in Venezuela? The USA Baseball site is not cutting the mustard.

Still think the Nats should have a AAA franchise in Hawaii. The on Senators did for a couple of years til Short pulled them out. :)
