Among the ten, no, but Boomer Whiting as a “sleeper?” That’s a surprise - at least to anyone who’s seen him play in person.
Love the new design ;-)

I’m surprised Smiley Gonzalez didn’t make the list. We recently learned he is much closer to his magical “age 27″ season than we ever expected.

Brian, love the new look, congrats!!
Hey, I love that Curran got some lovin’. From all the stuff I’ve read you just can’t help but hope and root for this kid. Maybe he’ll make it to Hagerstown and I can see him. Vermont would be a stretch for me to make…

This is fun. My choices for MiL pitcher and hitter for 2009: Pitcher - Alaniz. My pick, not only for his talent, but also because several ahead of him may end up with the big club. Hitter - J.P. Ramerez. Our Tony Gwynn.
Anybody want to play? It’s a snow day for me. I remember NatsNut was in Hill ’s corner when many weren’t. Give the lady credit. She was rightfully excited. She may have picked the key player for our season - or maybe not. Time will tell. Now is your chance to pick the MiL mover. Please play, otherwise I may have to work from home. Let’s play two!

The article repeats the idea that McGeary will be continuing college through 2009. Brian, I assume you’ve received corroboration from other sources of Bowden’s comment of a while ago that McGeary would be playing baseball full-time?

Still no official word. The minor leaguers are scheduled to arrive in about a week.

Interesting! I won’t take that for granted, then.
