Well now that Acta is gone it’s time clean house and at the same time give some of the AAA people a well deserved shot. At least they will play with some enthusiasm. I am tired of watching infielders fail to cover a base and not be called to account.

Anyone know much about Sean Nicol? was he drafted? Seems like his college career was average.

  3. #3 by Andrew F. - July 13th, 2009 at 10:21

Nicol was drafted in the 16th round of the 2009 draft.

Thanks Andrew! Any idea what kind of player he was in college?

What’s up with Leonard Davis? He hasn’t played lately, is he hurt?

Something else i’d like to see: some promotions throughout the system. I’d like to see Arneson moving up to AAA and replacing one of the aging “organizational” arms there. Potomac looks like it has a hole in their rotation; lets put Frias there from Hagerstown and replace him with newly signed A.J. Morris (anyone have news on where he’s getting assigned?)

Most of the AAA guys from spring should have been replaced by AA guys awhile ago…
