Senators Roster Moves

To make room for CA Luke Montz and LHP Dave Williams, RHP Adam Carr was sent to extended spring training and CA Javi Herrera was transferred to Vermont.

Keep in mind that these “transfers to Vermont” are often procedural and you might still see Herrera traveling with the team

Thanks for the update. Nice to see all of the farm teams win last night especially after Beimel bad start in Potomac.

Any word on who’s coming to Potomac to replace Seuss? I’m presuming Beimel will serve up BP again tomorrow before somebody gets sent up/down, and whew I’m glad it’s not Carr.

Beimel doesn’t count as a Potomac roster spot since he is on MLB rehab.

What has happened to Carr? A few years ago, several publications had him rated as a top ten prospect for the Nats!

Sometimes too many cooks spoil the broth. Oftentimes 3,4, or more coaches/coordinators try to tweak a pitcher’s delivery. Players are put in a position of not knowing whose advice to follow and whose not to follow. Doesn’t mean any one coach is wrong - there just ought to be a bit more consistency in what the players are told.

Adam, take care. You will be missed!

Javi, your playing will be missed!

Thanks, Tom - I guess the implication that Beimel will be getting innings this weekend versus a new pitcher on the roster must have been too subtle.

I know you told me earlier that Ivany was on the restricted list due to injury, but i can’t find him on the big board anymore. any news on him?
