What’s the likely solution to fill in for Bynum now?

Bynum is one of those organization guys … (read AAAA although I hate that term) that has been on the minor league rosters for awhile now. They can use Chase Lambin who has also been playing a lot of second base. They can use Mike Morse. They can use Pete Orr. They can use Bruntlett.

They really are short a tradtional/true shortstop. I guess that would be Espinosa once he gets promoted.

    Absolutely unbelievable!!!!!

Speaking of Lambin . . . what’s his future? Have the Nats ever considered using him as a sorely needed decent hitter-OF? If not, why not? (Not complaining, just asking, I never heard of him before this year)

Lambin keeps coming up but he’s a lot like Padilla. He’s had chances at prospect status before, I believe we got him from Japan this year. More organizational filler most likely. I think we’re more likely to see Mench than Lambin, and you hope you don’t have to see either because JMax figures out how to cut down on his strikeouts or Morse sticks.
