Cleaning up the Big Board some.
- Syracuse – Added RHP Andrew Brown ostensibly to replace RHP Garrett Mock who went on the DL instead of reporting to the Chiefs … Chiefs are at a full 24-man
- Harrisburg – Sent UTIL Dan Nelson along with RHP Adrian Alaniz (who was not on the Senators active roster) to Potomac … Senators are at 23/24
- Potomac … placed RHP Robinson Fabian, OF Nick Moresi, UTIL Nick Arata, and OF Boomer Whiting on the DL. Added Nelson & Alaniz from Harrisburg along with OF Chris Curran and IF Wilberto Ortiz … full 25-man roster
No word yet on the variety of injuries

It looks like Syracuse moved Andrew Kown back to starter … so I guess Brown replaces Kown in the bullpen? Hey that rhymes? ;)

What the heck hit Potomac? Four guys to the DL, two others on suspension; Yikes!

was there ever an explanation given for the suspensions?

Hi,
I moved to Asheville from Hagerstown 4 years ago where I had lived for 11 years, The ball teams are in the same league – the Sally League, so I know that league well. I was born in Washington, DC and grew up and worked in the close in the Maryland suburbs, so I was raised on and lost both Senator teams. So I was very glad when Hagerstown became a Nats farm club (although the Suns prospered more as a Toronto Blue Jay farm club for 8 years in the mid to late 1990’s and early 2000’s).
Robinson Fabian pitched for the Asheville Tourists last year. I saw potential but a lot to learn. Perhaps he will do so in the Nats farm system and may even be a surprise. I’m rooting for Justin Maxwell not only because I want someone to step up and take over that right field position, but because he is a Terrapin. I bleed Terrapin blood (UM ‘61)! It’s kind of fun being a Terrapin here in Tar Heel country. :-)

I’m so excited about the Brown pickup!
If he’s healthy, he could really contribute to the Washington pen down the line.

What’s the deal with King? I know he’s suspended but I don’t see him on the big board.
