What are the scouting reports on Adrian Nieto? He is an offensive or defensive type catcher? J P Ramirez seems to be struggling a little with Vermont, is he “on schedule”?

JP is very much still in the team’s future plans. Keep in mind he’s only 19, which is young for the Penn League.

Freda-were you at the 7/12 DH between Lowell and the Lake Monsters?-if so,did you see the catch Higley made from right field. It’s probably the best catch I’ve ever seen at Centennial Field -the crowd rose to their feet yelling and clapping, teammates went nuts.

    Tyler Moore having an amazing 10 game stretch – .439 BA / 7 doubles / 12 RBI’s / 8 runs

JimL – I go to every home game so yes I was there and yes I saw the catch and yes it WAS the most amazing catch I have seen in my 15 years at Centennial. JR is a great kid and is always a hustler so I wouldn’t have expected anything less from him. Are you a season ticket holder?

Freda-I was a season ticket holder the first few years but I live in Rutland and the ride on ‘Pray for me I drive Rt. 7″ is too much for that many games-but go as much as I can.By the way, have you been impressed with Clayton Dill?-and glad you feel the same about THE catch!

    From MLBTradeRumors.com…

2:59 [Comment From Moe Greene] What is Nick Johnson’s trade value? 3:00 It’s decent. Good glove most years and a good bat who has pop and can draw walks. So I’m thinking a better package than what the Brewers gave up for Lopez.
