Brian – where did Amar and Amato come from? Maybe I’m wrong, but they look like new names to me.
#8 by Brian Oliver - June 15th, 2009 at 11:27
Adam Amar is a 23-year old 1B who played for Auburn (Toronto) in the NY/Penn League in 2008. Gary Amato is a 23-year old RHP who pitched in Sally League for Pittsburgh earlier this year.
Organizational players who might be around until draft picks are signed

When are the P-Nats going to either play CA T. Reagan or send him down to get some playing time? He has been on the active roster for a long time now with only 3-4 AB’s seems unfair to the kid.
#11 by Rocket Surgeon - June 15th, 2009 at 12:09
Listened to the H-Sens game yesterday and I’m still trying to figure out why Stearns let Kown get 3 AB’s (once with the bases loaded) instead of pinch-hitting for him. Missed 2 attempts at a suicide squeeze which got Lowrance caught in a rundown and K’ed twice. The Sens announcer was astounded as well. I understand going against the odds sometime but these moves made “Bad Dude” look like a bonehead.

Just saw that they moved CA T. Reagan down to Hagerstown and called up Devin Ivany to Potomac
