mcgalinmd- Of the Syracuse outfielders, Maxwell’s stats are among the worse. He has talent, but it sure does not show stat wise. His performances have been underwhelming at most of his stops. A .263 BA in over 900 minor league at bats is not very good.

Ramirez leads the team in RBI’S and home runs , not bad for being Very young for the level. He is definitely coming along, NO DOUBT!!

Brian, Do you know why Elijah Dukes didn’t play on Sunday? If they wanted him to get AB’s everyday, it doesn’t make sense to rest him.

Stephen Englund is now pitching in the GCL! Anyone know if any former 2nd round position player who converted to pitching had a successful career? Ryan DeLaughter’s (a 2005 fifth round pick) conversion never panned out.

Saw the Lake Monsters Friday night, too. McGeary touched 89 according to the scoreboard. I've seen more effective batting practice pitchers, unfortunately. The first five hitters all reached safely. The only consolation was that he did pitch two scoreless innings, although they weren't clean. And, he is still very young.

Bronson threw 83-84 but was unhittable. He surrendered two infield hits to 2 of the last 3 batters he faced. Bronson has been unhittable all season. His effectiveness made you think the gun was broken. Ramirez is also VERY young for the level.

Mandel and Severino were promoted from Potomac to Harrisburg after the game yesterday. Word was we were receiving Storen and Pena from Hagerstown. Heard nothing about McCoy, but with the promotion of Severino, there is no left-hander in the bullpen. So, another move might have been coming.

Nothing yet. With an off-day for Potomac, I’m not sure when we’ll hear anything. Promotions from Potomac seem possible though there is also the DL

Potomac had 3 excellant starts from their starters this past weekend. Milone 1 run, Engles 1run and Mandel 1 run. Brian any word on who else will move from Potomac if McCoy and Storen are coming to Potomac?
