Updated Big Board

I have updated the Big Board (link is always on the top right of the page). Included now are the players’ dates of birth. I figured it would come in handy when trying to determine if a player is “old” for their level.

I have a quick guide of appropriate age per level at home. I’ll add it as a link tonight/tomorrow.

I know this is off topic, but is there any news regarding negotiations with Strasberg? Are they even talking yet? I figure this goes down to the wire, but one has to hope that, at the very least, pleasantries are being exchanged.

Tim – I’m sure they’ve exchanged some general ideas of terms. I just do not expect to hear anything substantative until the end of this month at the earliest.

Thanks, Brian, putting the DOB in makes it much easier to see where the Nats might do about their catching prospects. Really separates the wheat from the chaffe.

Brian, Could you possibly list the round that players were drafted in by other teams. You have done spectacular work following the players that the Nats have drafted and not signed AND listing the team that drafted in more recent drafts, but i would love to know by how much the Nats missed by not signing a player three years ago. Was he a 3rd round pick this season by _____ (fill in team name here), or was he a 27th round pick. Thanks for all the hard work
