I guess that I should be happy Chuck James is being moved to the ‘pen, mainly because I want him to come up to the Nats. The Nats sure need as much bullpen depth as possible. Still, I don’t know why they are dismissing his history as a solid starter so readily. Whatever is best for the organization, and especially the big club.

It looks as if Peralta and Bergmann are putting up very respectable numbers in relief for Syracuse. Mendel, too as a starter, is SOLID though he needs much more time in AAA, he could have a realistic shot. Any thoughts for Peralta and Bergmann in relief? Based on their age, I would say put them in DC now, as Batista, Walker and Bruney really need relief themselves.
