I have no idea why we need to spend money or time on Ron Vilone at this point unless we are planning to pave goodwill for some coaching or Front Office role for him in the future. Storen’s got to be ahead of him to replace guys in DC at this point. Aren’t there are other options ahead of him as well? If he helps Syracuse get to the playoffs, fine. But he shouldn’t catch a whiff of DC this year.

I’m wondering why Andrew Brown was sent to “extended spring training” and what that means. He’s not going to Vermont when that league starts in mid June, right? The guy’s 29 and had good outings so far in Syracuse. Hummmm.
