Plasencia Released; Baez Added


The Nationals released OF Francisco Plasencia from the Potomac Nationals and added OF Edgardo Baez. Baez had been serving a PED-related suspension.

    ex-po ebbe may make it to Cubs/Nats game Tuesday or Wed. Look for me in road bullpen windbreaker and red blackhawk cap…..I have been in more hostile crowds…. Plascencia sure was in vacuum of LH bats in outfield. Lets see if Baez can piece together a 24 game hit streak as he did in PR this past winter. Lets all light candles like Susan Sarandon’s character in BULL DURHAM for Josh Smoaker. Go, Josh, put it all together after the surgery!!!!
