Quick Update

Todd has graciously offered to fill in for me while I’m on vacation. He said he’d keep track of the Tragic Number and any of BA’s Top 20 lists that come out in my absence.

Thanks, Todd.

Thanks Todd, can you do one other thing please? Ask the Nats to fix the lights in the stadium. I bet even single A parks don’t have that problem. BTW, Are results from the Instructional League available online?

Bryce Harper went 1 for 5 with an RBI in the U18 tournament yesterday while playing CENTER FIELD. Interesting.

Wow. That could be very, very interesting. He certainly has the arm strength.

I assume he’s athletic enough to play CF, yes?

    4 is the magic #.

He could probably play anywhere but ss/2b…not that he actually couldn’t…but it might be awkward with his size.

I heard it said that he’s athletic enough to play every position, but pitcher and shortstop.

If he develops as quickly with the bat as many have projected I believe he will move away from catcher, it is one of the toughest positions to master (see Norris, Derek). RF, 3B or 1B seam likely to be his likely defensive positions long term, IMO.
