MiLB has named Hagerstown LHP Dan Rosenbaum the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week. While he did not register a decision this past week, he made two starts, allowing just eight hits and no walks over 14 scoreless innings while striking out thirteen. Rosenbaum was a 22nd round selection by the Nationals in the 2009 draft.

Another Shout-Out to Rosenbaum.

Nice job for Rosenbaum, and nice to see such a low draft pick earning these kinds of accolades.

I’m with some of the earlier posts, not only is this a great story, but he’s 22 and time to move him up.

More like Lannan.

The 2008-09 model Lannan or the defective 2010 version?

The Lannan before the injury.

Cool. Hopefully we will see him down here in Potomac during the second half along with Destin Hood. The P-Nats may become really exciting!

Yeah, Dan looked really good on Sunday, solid for his seven innings and the Suns finally broke through with a couple of runs, but the Tourists jumped all over the reliever in the eighth. Too bad, he deserved a win yesterday, so at least he’s getting some recognition from the league.
