Mark Zuckerman, formerly of the Washington Times, is due to resurface on Monday in blogger form. His site, Nats Insider, will kick off next week.
It’s good to see Mark back though I hope a paying gig is on the horizon.

I’ll be a regular visitor. That’s good news for us, and a way for him to keep his foot in the door.

I keep hoping the WaPo will pull him into their fold. He’d make a great addition to the Post sports department. I’m pulling for him and I’m very happy to hear about his starting up a blog. He’s been missed and it’s good to see him back.

You would think he’d be the perfect replacement for Chico Harlan. Nats, are you listening?

Bryce Harper got a single and a SF fly in his first game. In his second he hit his first collegiate home run in the victory, taking Matadors starter Tim Keller yard to start the bottom of the fifth inning. He finished 2-for-4 with a double, walk, run, and an RBI.
He’s only 17, the same age as HS Juniors.
Let’s play two!

Anyone need a good baseball book to get through Feb??? Vaccaro”s THE FIRST FALL CLASSIC is good. Brian, historically speaking- imagine if Ban Johnson did not manipulate the 1900s Bosox ownership away from Rose Kennedy’s forefather?????? Too bad John McGraw was too stubborn to sign Tris Speaker onto that dynamo NY Giant club…..still waiting for Nats to sign Edgardo Baez….

Jeff – Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to add that to the wish list or more likely the hold list at the library
