Thanks

I want to thank Todd for steering NFA while I was in Hawaii. He’s done a great job running the show during my two times away and I really appreciate it.

What to expect this week?

BA has their Carolina League Top 20 tomorrow and their Eastern League Top 20 on Friday. My guess is we may see Marrero and one of the arms (guessing Meyers) as the choices for the Carolina League and possibly Storen and maybe Desmond in the Eastern League.

I thought Desmond was not a top 10 prospect for the Nats, but with his late season run, where do you think he would rank among Nats prospects?

Divulging such “medical” conditions could potentially constrain and even ruin many potential possibilities outside of baseball. So, doctors typically will use a very generic prognosis when asked to provide statements about their treatment of patients to insurance companies.

Or at least that’s what you read off the Interwebs, right?

Personal experience Sue. Check out your local homeless shelter then perhaps we’ll talk.

Brian, don’t overlook either Milone or Atwood; Either one has an outside chance of making the top 20, imo.

Oops, forgot about Mandel, who might have actually outpitched Meyers for the season in 2009. Also, Arnesen was solid all year in both POT & HAR, although he’s not a “prospect” at this point, due to his age. Additionally, skip my connent on Atwood – I just took a look at his combined numbers, and they’re not that good.

Damn, there might actually some decent pitching in the pipeline; That’s a good sign.

Anybody looking for a good off-season book to read. Michael Shapiro hit another HR in Bottom of the Ninth!
