Lombardozzi, South Atlantic Hitter of the Week


Hagerstown 2B Stephen Lombardozzi was named the South Atlantic League Hitter of the Week for the period of July 5-12.  Over seven games, the 20-year old Lombardozzi hit 0.419 and slugged 0.710 with eleven RBI, eight runs scored and three stolen bases.

    Congrats to Lomardozzi. He seems to be one of the surprises of the year IMO.

    Although, I don’t get how Norris doesn’t take this award.

    12-26, 6 home runs, 8 BB’s, to go along with 11 RBI and 8 runs.

    Seems like equal to or significantly better to Lombardozzi’s numbers(specifically HR’s).
