Dominican SS Jean Carlos Valdez and Dominican pitcher RHP Cleto Cabral (HT to John).
I have heard their names mentioned with regards to the Nationals.
Cabral reportedly has good FB movement. (HT again to John).
Here is what Ben Badler of Baseball America has on Valdez
“…ability to hit for power, though scouts say his swing gets long and he has trouble translating that power into game situations. He has a strong arm, though he’s a below-average runner and will probably move to third base or the outfield”
Update: Kiley McDaniel of Baseball Prospectus confirms there is a possible link between the Nationals and Valdez and that we will know more in a few days

SS subject. I wonder if the Reds would have interest in Christian? Danny Dorn would be suitable.
