at some point, they typically wait until they have a few guys to announce

Wouldn’t shock me if we see a couple of guys appear in a Vermont game before the next release comes out

The Triple A affiliate is once again showing a strong showing, however it seems (as in the past), no top prospects. Is this typical of AAA teams? It seems many are making the jump from AA.

    Hello NFA Nation,

Went to all the SYR @ GWI games this past week. With the suspended game and making up a rainout it seemed like a 9 games series!

Frankly, neither GWI or SYR’s rosters feature many position player prospects. JMax for the Chiefs and Freddie Freeman for the Braves were about the only ones of note. And they didn’t exactly light up the park.

What SYR does offer is an outstanding pitching staff, particularly the bullpen. Wilkie, Severino, Bergmann, & Peralta have pitched well very well lately. And that’s after Slaten and Atilano have gone to D.C.

Most of the power & speed (Berny & Morse) and “buzz” (Storen & Strasburg) are in D.C. now. Chris Duncan looks like he’s done. Line-up doesn’t have much pop with so many sub-.250 hitters playing regularly.

    Regards,

    RS
