Hats off to Graham Hicks first win this year. As his Dad is a regular contributor, there's added incentive to root for him.

I love Ronny. The sun shines bright and long every day in his world. I could stand to take a page from his book.

That said, I'll be the killjoy and simply say that I'll be happy for them all to advance past A-ball first (or, in the case of Harper, get drafted and sign).

Ronny- These things tend to work themselves out (cream rises to the top) but I've seen some reports that say Harper will end up at 3b or RF b/c his bat is just too valuable

I think Adrian Nieto will be the next Derek Norris. He's an on base machine who can hit for high avg. When you can get on base at high clip, you will do well in the majors. I dream of the day where we have Nieto,Rooney,Norris, and Harper. What would the Nats do with these guys. Who gets traded?

Nice to see that McGeary had a good start - I'm a little worried about him. Also interesting that Glenn Gibson's at short-season A for the Rays, after getting lit up last year in A-ball. I wonder if that's because of organizational depth or because he's just not ready - certainly makes the Dukes deal look better even now.
