Senators Roster Moves


The Senators just made four roster moves

The Harrisburg Senators have announced that OF Michael Daniel and INF Michael Martinez have both been activated from the disabled list and Jemel Spearman and RHP Carlos Martinez have been placed on the disabled list.

Daniel injured had injured his right hamstring and Martinez had a shoulder injury. Spearman goes to the DL with a recurrence of a calf injury. No word on Martinez injury.

    patron Saint on City Iisle is Michael? Brian: Ironic if the first and last significant ex-po 1b were traded to Mets. Would Omar be desperate enough to take Nick, Olson and Hanarahan and see how many decent kids would come over???? Even a poor man’s Ken Singleton. Question from someone over 40: why DID the Expos make that trade involving Singleton with Orioles? Bryn Smith ended up being the only long term result. hmmm. that along the lines of Reggie not heading to MTL in 197(free agent year)….Langston working out in Sept…the owners lockout…wow!…lets see what Mr. Rizzo can pull off at the deadline…. secondly..Dan Opel must be quite a talent with a ful ride to MIZZOU with 6′3 225 L/L and CF!

    NTPNate: Marty Brenneman in Cincy came up I believe with the saying: Two Martinez lunch? Clippard fans rejoice! the swap of the kids hitting their walls for Mock, Marco and Colin….Tyler has to have a hand in that post August bullpen work!!! Hector, too.

    Carlos just has a tired arm but this move to the DL is mostly due to an excess of SPs
